KIMCHI is a traditional Korean side dish made by fermenting seasoned cabbage. Kimchi is spicy fermented cabbage. Usually stored in large jars, it has a noticeable aroma and a sour and spicy taste, depending on when you eat it. Because of the fermentation process and its ingredients, it has many nutrients. Garlic is heavily used, which helps you absorb vitamin B-12, and keeps your immune system high. You get a huge amount of Vitamin C (no orange juice needed!) from cabbage and spicy seasoning. You also receive carotene, which is converted into Vitamin A when eaten. Carotene also protects you from lung cancer.

What makes love, love? Love is doing for others what you like done to you. Love is treating others with the same care and compassion you desire. Love is giving yourself selflessly to those around you. Love is always active, alert and alive. You can always tell when you are loving others, you have a sense of purpose, an inner drive that causes you to keep reaching out to those in trouble, pain, or distress. The more love you give out the more you grow, you thrive, you succeed. Jesus Christ loved us and look what His love has done for us. You will never know how powerful, how inspiring, and how beneficial your love has been to others. Take time to love someone today. Take time to do good for those in grief. Take time to share your time with someone in trouble. Take time to put your arm around someone who is struggling. Take time to help someone who is hurting. When you help others you are really helping yourself. Love is a beautiful four letter word, let it speak loudly in your heart today.

When we meet the right person to love, when we’re
at the right place at the right time, that’s chance.
When you meet someone you’re attracted to, that’s not
a choice. That’s chance.
Being caught up in a moment (and there are a lot of
couples who get together because of this) is
not a choice. That’s also a chance.
The difference is what happens afterwards. When will
you take that infatuation, that crush, that
mind-blowing attraction to the next level?
That’s when all sanity goes back. You sit down and
contemplate whether you want to make this into a
concrete relationship or just a fling. If you decide
to love a person, even with his faults, that’s not a
chance. That’s choice.
When you choose to be with a person, no matter what,
that’s choice. Even if you know there are many people
out there who are more attractive, smarter, and richer
than your mate, and yet, you decide to love your mate
just the same, that’s choice.
Infatuation, crushes, and attraction come to us by
chance. But true love that lasts is truly a choice—a
choice that we make.
Regarding soulmates, there’s a beautiful movie quote
that I believe is so true about this: “Fate brings you
together, but it’s still up to you to make it happen.”
I believe that soulmates do exist, that there is truly
someone made for you. But it’s still up to you to make
the choice if you’re going to do something about it
or not.
We may meet our soulmates by chance, but loving and
staying with our soulmate is still a choice we have to
make.
We came to the world not by finding someone perfect to
love, BUT to learn how to love an imperfect person
perfectly.

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company… a church… a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past… we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you… we are in charge of our Attitudes.
